Hans Rosling receives Jubilee Prize Print E-mail

Last week, the Swedish Society of Medicine (Svenska Lkaresllskapet) announced that the Jubilee Prize for 2007 will be awarded to Hans Rosling, the founder and director of Gapminder, for his "his national and international achievements in clinical sciences and his impressive work to make global health understandable".

The Swedish Society of Medicine is the scientific organization of the Swedish medical profession. Its aim is to promote research, education and development in the health care sector. It was founded in 1808 and is one of the oldest medical organizations in Europe, celebrating its 200 years anniversary next year.
