This dataset shows the number of billionaires per 1,000 people in each country. For each country, we count the billionaires and divide that number by the country’s population. We use the the latest population estimates for 2025 from the World Population Prospects 2024 from the United Nations’ Population Division. The result makes it possible to compare countries by billionaire concentration, rather than by the total number of billionaires.
