Google Acquired Trendalyzer from Gapminder in March 2007 with the intention to speed up the process of getting newer and better version to the public. Last month they announced their first interactive bubble-chart in form of a Gadget in Google Spreadsheet. Motion chart lets you create your own chart from data you have published on a Google Spreadsheet.

This is the first public result of the acquisition in 2007 and it gives any user for the first time the possibility to make their own "Gapminder-like" graphs from thier own data. Gapminder is very excited about the new doors it will open and is looking forward to future development.
