The family lives in Sweden. F is 33 years old and works at Gapminder, a non-profit foundation. Her husband S is 38 years old and he owns a business. They own a 2 bedroom apartment, where they've been living for 8 months. The best thing about their apartment are the large windows. The only downside is that when the commuter trains are cancelled or delayed, it can take a while to reach the city center. Their favourite item is the guitar and they're not planning on buying anything big for the moment.

The family lives in Sweden. F is 33 years old and works at Gapminder, a non-profit foundation. Her husband S is 38 years old and owns a coffee catering business. F works 40 hours a week and S's work is seasonal: lots of events during the summer, when he works 14 hours per day, and not much work on winter. F and S live in a 2 bedroom apartment that they have recently bought. They like that the home is spacious and the windows are huge. The home has 2 floors, it's close to nature and to a lake, and right next to the train station. The apartment has uninterrupted electricity, safe running water (hot and cold water from the tap), and a toilet with shower. The family buys all their their food, which costs about 10% of their income. They also grow a few herbs, such as basil, which they add to their dishes. Drinking water is available on the tap and is safe to drink. They use electricity for cooking in their kitchen. F and S spend about 6 hours per week doing housework, such as cleaning (mostly on weekends), laundry, washing dishes, etc. The family saves money and goes on vacations abroad every year. The furthest they have been is probably F's hometown in Brazil. They are not planning on buying anything big for the house now, they are planning on travelling. The next big things they might have to buy for their home might be baby items when they decide to have children. The items they love the most in their home is the guitar and the paintings of Nepal given by friends.
