The Paramanik family lives in Bangladesh. Chad Ali is 28 years old and is a farmer. His wife Monowala is 25 years old and they live with their 3 kids and 2 grandparents. The family lives in a rent-free 3-bedroom house and have been living here for 58 years. They like the house because it’s in a good neighbourhood where they grew up with their ancestors. However, the downside of the place is that there are a lot of mosquitos. The family’s favorite items are their clothes and their plan is to spend money on buying groceries. Their dream is to one day buy their own new house.

The Paramanik family lives in Bangladesh. Chad Ali is 28 years old and is a farmer. His wife, Monowala, is 25 years old. They live in the family house with their 3 kids and 2 grandparents. The grandfather, Akbar, is 68 years old and is also a farmer. Together the family works for 130 hours/week. The family lives in a three-bedroom house and have been living here for the past 58 years. Their house was built with help from their friends and family and it has electricity, but there are frequent power failures. The toilet facility is within the premises of the house. The Paramanik family purchases all their food supplies from the market and spend nearly all of their income on it. The drinking water source is on the premises of their house and is free of cost. Firewood is collected by the adult females of the family to light the kitchen stove. The family saves very little money, as most of it is spent on buying food supplies. The next things they plan on buying are some groceries for their meals. They dream of one day owning a permanent structure house.
