The family lives in Nepal. They are 6 adults and 2 children. T is 33 years old and she lives with her extended family. The family lives in a 4-bedroom house and have been living here for 3 years. They like the surroundings and design of the house, however, they dislike that it gets very hot during the summers. The next big things they are planning to purchase are a sofa and a freezer. Their dream is to buy a piece of land and a house someday.

The family lives in Nepal. They are 6 adults and 2 children. T is 33 years old and she is unemployed. She lives with her daughters at her mother’s place. Her two daughters, R, 13 years old, and , M,11 years old, are students. Her mother, U, is 51 years old and she works in sales and service. She has two brothers, N, 28 years old, works in another country, and S, 25 years old, is in the Nepalese army. Her two sisters-in-law, B who is 28 years old and works as a teacher, and D who is 22 years old and is unemployed, also live with them. T has a 4 years old nephew, G. The family lives in a 4-bedroom house that they own. They have been living there for 3 years. They like the design and surroundings of their house but when the house heats up in summer, it bothers them. The house has a toilet facility in the yard and electricity which sometimes fails. The family also owns agricultural land. The family purchases 80% of their food supplies from the market and the rest comes from their own production. The main source of drinking water is in the yard, but it is not clean to drink. In the kitchen, they use natural gas and wood as fuels for cooking. The family sometimes goes on vacations, and the furthest they have ever been was to Kathmandu, in Nepal. Their most valuable possessions in the house are important documents and jewelry. The next big things they plan on purchasing are a sofa and a freezer or refrigerator. Their dream is to buy a piece of land and a house someday.
