Dear Sir,
I first saw your video on TED.
Its been quite a journey from then On.
The biggest problem that i face is that, i don’t see many of my peers appreciate Gapminder.
Its simply mind bending to notice them not notice!!
Am a fan too Sir,
May be some day i can get to see you some where and spend a few minutes, Wow that would be nice.

I very much agree. I whole-heartedly implemented gapminder “off-shoots” to display some very complex data on our website. Dr. Rosling’s talk a few days ago at NIH was amazing and I wish him all the best!

Damm you Hans! I feel like that Russian figure skater. I was supposed to have your spot (#96). I developed a BASIC program to display multivarate data visualy a while back. It was a virtual stage that the user could rotate, tip, etc on his screen. On that stage (at numerous locations [X,Y,Z]) appeared various sized bubbles. Each bubble could have a color. Each also had a face (not my idea. See “Chernov Faces”) which displayed 3 or 4 more indicators. So, including movement with time, my Clown Faces on a Stage could represent 7 or 8 indicators simultaneously. Unfortunately, the program still has bugs. If anyone wants to translate it into Object Oriented Code, please let me know. Anyway, Hans . . . congratulations!

great news !
I’ve been watching all the ted movies by Hans Rosling,
and I’m very interested in checking the Google motion chart app,
and how I can learn new things out of my company’s data,
when looked at with a different tool.
